Entrech\u00adtun\u00adgen und Mis\u00adshand\u00adlun\u00adgen von Men\u00adschen mit psy\u00adchis\u00adchen und epilep\u00adtis\u00adchen Erkrankun\u00adgen sowie geisti\u00adgen Behin\u00adderun\u00adgen sind weltweit ver\u00adbre\u00adit\u00adet. Sie kom\u00admen fl\u00e4chen\u00addeck\u00adend in L\u00e4n\u00addern vor, in denen die gro\u00dfe Mehrheit der Bev\u00f6lkerung keinen Zugang zu ein\u00ader psy\u00adchi\u00ada\u00adtrischen Ver\u00adsorgung hat. Die Betrof\u00adfe\u00adnen wer\u00adden isoliert und stig\u00adma\u00adtisiert, leben extrem schlecht\u00aden Bedin\u00adgun\u00adgen und wer\u00adden ungerecht\u00adfer\u00adtigt und exzes\u00adsiv ihrer Frei\u00adheit beraubt. Sie wer\u00adden in Ver\u00adschl\u00e4\u00adgen oder im Freien an B\u00e4u\u00admen angeket\u00adtet, oft \u00fcber Jahre und Jahrzehnte, ihre Glied\u00adma\u00dfen wer\u00adden in Holzbl\u00f6ck\u00aden fix\u00adiert oder sie wer\u00adden auf andere Weise gezielt mis\u00adshan\u00addelt. Viele dieser Men\u00adschen\u00adrechtsver\u00adlet\u00adzun\u00adgen find\u00aden in sog. Gebetscamps statt, die von der Regierung nicht kon\u00adtrol\u00adliert wer\u00adden. Die Betrof\u00adfe\u00adnen haben kein\u00ader\u00adlei Ein\u00adspruchsm\u00f6glichkeit\u00aden oder Zugang zu Rechtsmit\u00adteln. Con\u00adfer\u00adence at Kas\u00adsel, Feb 16th<\/sup> 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

The depri\u00adva\u00adtion of rights and abuse of peo\u00adple with men\u00adtal and epilep\u00adtic ill\u00adness\u00ades and men\u00adtal dis\u00adabil\u00adi\u00adties are wide\u00adspread world\u00adwide. They occur nation\u00adwide in coun\u00adtries where the vast major\u00adi\u00adty of the pop\u00adu\u00adla\u00adtion has no access to psy\u00adchi\u00adatric care. Those affect\u00aded are iso\u00adlat\u00aded and stig\u00adma\u00adtised, live in extreme\u00adly bad con\u00addi\u00adtions and are unjus\u00adti\u00adfi\u00adably and exces\u00adsive\u00adly deprived of their free\u00addom. They are chained in sheds or out\u00addoors to trees, their limbs are often fixed in wood\u00aden blocks, some\u00adtimes for years and decades, or they are mis\u00adtreat\u00aded in oth\u00ader ways. Many of these human rights vio\u00adla\u00adtions take place in so-called prayer camps, which are not con\u00adtrolled by the gov\u00adern\u00adment. The per\u00adsons con\u00adcerned have no right of appeal or access to legal reme\u00addies. The gov\u00adern\u00adments of the coun\u00adtries con\u00adcerned large\u00adly ignore the sit\u00adu\u00ada\u00adtion, although they have signed the rel\u00ade\u00advant human rights conventions.<\/p>\n
